Mr. Neeraj Gupta, is one of the top sculpture artist in India, who can create Marble sculptures, wooden sculptures as well as Metal Sculptures and has started experimenting with pigmented white cement. Born in 1969 in Delhi and completing his basic education followed by Masters Degree in Building Science from School of Planning & Architecture in 1993, Mr. Gupta took steady steps towards his so called, proactive career. Since the year 2003 when Mr. Gupta hosted a solo show at Lalit Kala Academy in Delhi, there was no stepping back for him. He hosted numerous exhibitions such as Solo Show at India Habitat Centre and Solo Show at Domestic Airport of Indira Gandhi Airport of Delhi in the year 2005. After this in 2006, he hosted a solo show of works once again at Indira Gandhi Airport of Delhi followed by re-hosting the solo show at India Habitat Centre and Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai in 2008. Mr. Gupta has been since then hosting solo shows every year with the recent one in 2011 which was an exhibition showcasing 100 years of Delhi at Hungarian culture centre. As praise for his works, Mr. Neeraj Gupta has received the Sahitya Kala Parishad Award at the 28th Annual Art Exhibition, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi in the year 2004.
He has been an active participant in the National Exhibition of Art at Lalit Kala Academy in 2004 and has been appreciated as theme artist of annual festival of India International Centre in the year 2009. His wide range of sculpture collections exhibits across various destinations such as South Block, Central Atrium of D.R.D.O. HD. QRTS., Central Cathedral church in New Delhi, Las Vegas, U.S.A., Holland, Indian Islamic Centre and more. Mr. Neeraj Gupta holds expertise in expressing all art forms, storytelling, religious and political views as well as contemporary opinions on history, fashion, literature, music and more.
